Event Postponed for School Year 2010-2011

It is with heavy heart that I'm reaching out today to let you know that we have made the difficult decision to postpone the continuation of Experience Your Future Day at least for the 2011 event.
 
We are still committed to the premise of the event ... to support education and our future workforce.
 
In order to give all parties involved sufficient notice, we did our best to look into our crystal ball to assess future participation of this event.  In surveying employers and local resources, we have found that this difficult economy has continued to take it's toll.  Local businesses have fewer resources (both time and money) to allocate to community efforts.  And this particular event requires not only growing resources from the Jobing Foundation and the local school districts, but also from the local employers.  Without growing support, the event would not be as strong of a learning event for the students involved.
 
We would prefer to postpone it rather than make it a lesser event.  We hope to be able to bring it back in the future.
