How to Make the Day a Fun and Rewarding Learning Experience... Success for All
This event is your organization's chance to shape the future workforce. Be creative! You can help make this day a success! Some suggestions about how to make the day a success for you...
- Staff the exhibit with individuals working directly in the profession.
- What can you bring with you to truely show students what it's like to work in your profession or industry.
- Can they get hands-on? CPR dummies, mini salon make overs, heavy construction equipment, video, mobile ATMs, autocad... If they can touch, do, play, interact... all the better!
- Consider showing how school relates to work. Does your job require math or science skills? How important is the need for strong written communication skills?
